Stay Tuned: Updates of new pics of Kaelynn to be posted on Dec. 15, 2008!

Nathon and I, proud parents, would like to introduce our new baby Kaelynn Alaina Foster. She was born July 26th at 11:54 pm, 7lbs 9.3. oz, 19 ¼ inches long, 14” head, 13.25” chest. She was born 3 weeks early (from the August 15th due date...). It runs in my family to have babies 3-4 weeks early, so I knew she was coming! It so happens she was born 2 days after her daddy’s birthday!).

Her cord was wrapped around her belly twice when she came out. She had breathing complications they thought either from underdeveloped lungs (from being early) or from the cord being wrapped around her…so she had to have oxygen to supplement her lungs for a little while. But she did fine…And like most babies do after birth, she developed jaundice and had to stay in the NICU. We were there for 4 days…but she is so strong and recovered well. No blood sugar problems for either of us! All that hard work paid off...Nathon and I love her so much, and she is an amazingly GREAT baby. Stay tuned for further pictures and updates!
